Product concept

Do you have an idea for a product but you need help to develop it?

 

We have everything you need to make it real. We will develop a technical product concept according to the customer’s guidelines, along with the selection of cost-efficient manufacturing technology and materials for the anticipated volume.

 

We will prepare BoM (Bill of Materials). We will estimate product’s costs based on RFQ’s we have made.

We design in accordance with the DFM (Design For Manufacturing) principles.

We know how important a refined design is for the quality and cost of the product. We use advanced PTC CREO 10 software, which will cope with any task. It is a versatile and reliable CAD system that we know at an expert level. Where low costs are key, we implement Alibre.

 

In special cases we can work on shared NX, Catia v5, Solid Works licenses, Inventor. We design:

· plastic injection moulded parts, · castings and forgings,
· components made by machining,
· sheet metal parts,
· steel frame constructions,
· welded structures.

We use a methodology for building CAD models that allows them to be modified relatively easily as they evolve.

Simulations are becoming a standard in design. It is a MUST HAVE for developing a competitive product.

 

Investment in simulations always pays off – lower material consumption, higher reliability, fewer tests, shorter implementation time, peace of mind … The key here is correct input data in accordance with the GIGO principle and KNOW HOW, which is acquired through experience.

 

At TechPros we are aware of this, which is why we cooperate with experts. We offer: · strength simulations, including determination of forces, stress states, deformations in static and dynamic conditions, · fatigue strength assessment, · heat flow simulations, · simple fluid mechanics (CFD) simulations. Each simulation is completed with a report, containing analysis, interpretation of results and recommendations.

 

Simulations are performed in CREO SIMULATE, which is cost-effective and fully sufficient for analyses of medium complexity.

We will design technological equipment for automatic lines and robotic stations for a specific product. Many technological operations require special fixing or positioning of a component, whose shape can be very sophisticated.

 

An example is pad printing, which requires a so-called last or nest, in which the element is fixed and checked for the correct position of the print.

We know how various manufacturing processes work. Set us a goal and provide the necessary input data, and we will return the desired result to you.

We will recreate complex parts based on 2D drawings or 3D scans. We cooperate with companies specializing in 3D scanning. The result of our work may be a solid model made for a specified manufacturing method, e.g. plastic injection.

We print in-house in the following technologies:

  •  SLA – FromLabs – highest quality prints, print precision up to 0.05mm, working area 145 × 145 × 175 mm, excellent surface quality and a wide range of materials: https://formlabs.com/store/materials/
  • FDM – Creality Ender 5 – low-cost prints from PLA material, working area 220 x 220 x 300 mm, great possibilities at a very affordable price.
 

Our 3D printing technologies do not cover all needs, however, based on our experience, we can advise which technology will be optimal.

We will prepare product documentation in the form of detailed 2D drawings, assembly instructions, etc.

We will ensure that the project documentation is complete, clear and professionally prepared, in accordance with applicable standards.

We will fill in missing tolerances, fits, surface roughness and other details.
